Reciprocal
Links
Thank you for your interest in linking to or exchanging links with the
HotelGuide Network,
a leading publisher of travel information sites on the web.
Do you publish an area tourist information site or destination guide? If so, we'd like to talk with
you. HotelGuide is interested in expanding the ability of web surfers to find quality
area information sites, including our own. Accordingly, we have created a reciprocal link
program to encourage the exchange of links between publishers of travel information on the web.
We believe wholeheartedly that the web will be a better place for it, and we hope you'll join
us in our pursuit.

About the Program
The HotelGuide Network's reciprocal links program is targeted specifically towards
travel and destination information sites that are desirous of increasing traffic to
themselves and to other quality travel sites. With the collapse of the advertising
market, the corruption of the search engines and the proliferation of literally thousands
of junk sites hawking hotel affiliate programs, publishers have an increasingly difficult
time making the web work for them. By exchanging reciprocal links, we can help each other
obtain increased numbers of interested readers.
HotelGuide is a publication of MetroGuide.com, Inc., and
we follow the MetroGuide Policy for
link exchanges. As a hotel directory, we are not just
another search engine, and our editors carefully review both the hotel information that
appears in our guide, and the links that we exchange with other publishers. Please review
our link exchange policy carefully; to maintain the quality and integrity of the program we
have certain terms and conditions that are strict, but necessary.
Each one of our metropolitan hotel directories has an "Area Information" page, which includes
both area information and the links we are providing to other travel sites. You can see a
sample
of one of our link exchange pages as part of HotelGuide San Francisco.

I have a hotel and would like a link.
The purpose of our reciprocal link program is to exchange links with area travel information
providers. As a hotel directory publisher, our method of dealing with hotel information
is different then how we deal with general travel information. Consequently, to maintain
the consistency of our database, page layout and commerce opportunities, HotelGuide
does not link directly to hotels. We do, however, list extensive hotel and accommodations
information on our site. To submit a hotel listing,
How can I link to you?
With some exceptions, we gladly accept links from travel related sites, whether or not
you have signed on with our formal program. If you would like to link to us, the link
should either be to the "HotelGuide Network", located at http://www.HotelGuide.net, or to
a specific metropolitan page (for example: http://miami.hotelguide.net). Please use the
code below as an example:
HotelGuide Miami
How long does it take to get a link?
We propose a rapid turnaround time of just a few days. Please review the MetroGuide Link Exchange
Policy for more details.
Is there any cost for a link?
As a link exchange, there is no monetary cost for this program. The main point is that
HotelGuide and your information site(s) reciprocate with quality links.
Why? What are the benefits of linking?
Quality information providers on the web are getting harder and harder to find. The big
networks don't want end-users to leave their services, and the search engines have become
so polluted with spam that it is impossible to find good, independent travel information
sites. The HotelGuide family of sites receives millions of unique visitors every month and
we can help share that visibility with you. Together, we can increase the visibility of
quality sites to the public.
